Fans watching "The Biggest Loser" this season thought that Rebecca Meyer's best friend on the show was her roommate and pink team partner Amanda Arlauskas. But they would be wrong. Meyer, who currently weights 157 pounds -- a 122-pound loss -- revealed last night that it is really Daniel Wright, who was voted out last week, but has still lost 230 pounds over his two seasons on the hit weight-loss series.

ET spoke to Rebecca, who revealed, "I did fall in love with my best friend. We became each other's go-to person. It was, "Wow, ok." Now I look at him and he is my best friend, but he is also the person I want to jump." Wondering why the show didn't pick up on their relationship? The 25-year-old from Des Moines, Iowa says, "The show didn't pick it up because it was after hours. I am a night owl."

ET: How is it different that you met Daniel at the ranch, rather than at a restaurant or a club?

Rebecca Meyer: To be completely honest, if we had met somewhere like a restaurant or club, I don't think we would have even been friends much less fall in love. Not that we aren't both interesting and fun people. We are kind of different. We didn't really like each other all that well in the beginning. We went from not liking, to becoming friends, to becoming best friends. After we both left the show and came home, we realized that we wanted to spend hours talking on the phone. On the show, we were definitely there for each other emotionally, mentally and physically at that very raw state of our lives.

ET: Do you work out together?

Rebecca Meyer: When we visit each other in our respective states -- I have gone to North Carolina; he has come to Iowa -- we make sure we take each other to each other's gyms and make sure we work out the hours we would normally workout. It is fun to do. We keep going on with what we did at the ranch.

ET: How is it to be dating someone who is on the same journey as you?

Rebecca Meyer: For me, it is pivotal. It is the most important thing for me. He is not only my boyfriend and the person I get gaga over, he is my sounding board when I am having food issues, or not wanting to go to the gym, or trying to figure out why I don't want to. He understands without me even having to say it sometimes. It is the best part because he understands where I have been. We don't have to go to the place where people don't understand, because so many people at home don't understand.

ET: How is it having a long-distance relationship?

Rebecca Meyer: Initially it is very tough. Initially that was the reason we weren't going to do it. When he first told me he had feelings for me, I was, 'I don't want to do long distance.' I had emotional and intimacy walls up. I didn't want to be in a relationship, but then I was like, "Really? Am I going to stop something that could potentially change my life forever, because of 17-1/2 hours [the time it takes them to drive to see each other]?" We have both decided we are not going to be in our respective states forever, so the long distance won't be permanent.

ET: Other than being separated from Daniel, what is the most difficult thing being home?

Rebecca Meyer: I would say it was transitioning back in to life. That was the hardest thing for me. I was gone from home for about three-and-a-half months. I come home and I am a completely different person. I have changed physically, emotionally and mentally. I come home and everything is the same. I had to reevaluate my friendships and relationships. If people wanted to hang out with me, I was no longer going to be in the bar scene, which I can do, but I am usually the DD [designated driver] now. They were going to have to go for runs with me or workout with me, because I still had to fit in six hours of workouts a day.

ET: Do you have any definitive plans for the future?

Rebecca Meyer: I am definitely not moving to North Carolina. We are not real sure what we want to do or where we want to go. We want to figure it out together. After the finale, the world is our oyster and we can figure it out. No definitive plans. We want to be closer.

"The Biggest Loser" airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on NBC.
