ROBIN ROBERTS told viewers of "Good Morning America" today that her doctors have determined that she needs to undergo chemotherapy as part of her fight against breast cancer.
The "GMA" anchor had a successful surgery on August 3, but her physicians have since informed her that further treatment is required.
"Good Morning America" co-host ROBIN ROBERTS, who returned to work less than two weeks ago after undergoing surgery for breast cancer, reveals to the Associated Press that her prognosis is "quite good" and that the cancer is out of her body and "the plan now is to keep it out."
Roberts, 46, says it will be several weeks more before undergoing any more treatment, which may mean chemotherapy.
