"NCIS," airing Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on CBS, stars PAULEY PERRETTE as forensic specialist Abby Sciuto, a talented scientist whose dark wit matches her Goth style. Abby's character is based on the non-Goth DAWN SORENSON, a real NCIS, who is also a technical advisor on the hit series from Executive Producer/Creator DONALD BELLISARIO.

Just three months after her husband MICHAEL GILDEN took his own life, MEREDITH EATON-GILDEN talks to our KEVIN FRAZIER as his storyline on the hit CBS show "NCIS" comes to a close.
"I miss him terribly," Meredith tells Kevin of her late husband, who died December 5. "He's my best friend, and to lose someone that you share such a profound, deep love for is the most difficult obstacle that I've ever been forced to face in my life."
The subject matter on "NCIS" is always totally serious, as the hit CBS series mainly focuses on the solving of major crimes. But little by little, executive producer/creator DON BELLISARIO is introducing info on the personal lives of the characters, and that is a big draw for the fans.
This season for example, Special Agent Tony DiNozzo (MICHAEL WEATHERLY) has a girlfriend, something that hasn't happened to him before, and the former "Dark Angel" star sees it as a sign of growth for his character.

He had also appeared on "Charmed," "Family Law" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," as well as feature films including 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Star Wars: Episode VI - Return Of The Jedi.'

It's the season of secrets on the top-rated military drama, and our KEVIN FRAZIER caught up with its star, MARK HARMON, as he spills the beans about his romantic endeavor on tonight's episode.
Is there a possible love interest for Mark's character Jethro Gibbs? On tonight's edition, airing at 8 p.m. ET, the NCIS crew teams up with the Army Criminal Investigative Unit to find out who killed a Marine colonel who died in an explosion on a military golf course. But sparks really begin to fly when Gibbs meets his Army counterpart, played by SUSANNA THOMPSON.
Gibbs is on the case and McSteamy heats things up! With the television season underway, we go inside two of the hottest shows to hit the airwaves -- "NCIS" and "Grey's Anatomy."
Dr. McDreamy, meet Dr. McSteamy! PATRICK DEMPSEY has some newfound competition in the hot doctor category as ERIC DANE permanently joins the cast of "Grey's Anatomy." We were the first on the set with the hunky star, who revealed how he stays in shape for his racy towel scenes.
"NCIS" is all shook up when the CBS drama returns for its fourth season tonight at 8 p.m., following the departure of Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon). Gibbs retired from "NCIS" after TPTB allowed a ship with innocent sailors to be blown up in the third season finale. Now, he's down in Mexico building boats, and the NCIS team is under the direction of Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), who is doing a good job, but isn't Gibbs. Then Ziva gets in trouble, and Gibbs agrees to come back to D.C. to help her out, but not to return to "NCIS."
"I got a call after the Fourth of July that said, 'Don't shave. And have you cut your hair? Don't shave until you come back and we have an idea of what this is going to be,'" Mark tells ET's Jann Carl of the upcoming storyline.
It's been three months since your favorite CBS shows aired their season finales, many of which were cliffhangers. So if you missed Charlie's (Charlie Sheen) wedding day on "Two and a Half Men," Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) decision to retire from "NCIS," or the plane crash and Melinda's (Jennifer Love Hewitt) battle with evil on "Ghost Whisperer," tune in to CBS the week of Sept. 11. The eye network will rebroadcast the finales of "How I Met Your Mother," "Two and a Half Men," "CSI: Miami," "NCIS," "Criminal Minds," "CSI: New York," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Ghost Whisperer" and Without a Trace" just in time for fans to get ready for the new fall season.
If it's Tuesday, it's time for "NCIS," and this week, the military procedural drama is doing double duty. First, "NCIS: The Complete First Season" DVD arrives in stores today, and then tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS, the NCIS team has an explosive case on its hands as they try to identify the remains of a Marine that were destroyed when the ambulance carrying the body blows up.
"This show is about someone maybe trying to do the right thing for the wrong reasons," MARK HARMON, who plays Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, tells ET's KEVIN FRAZIER, who is visiting the set. "I think as this show unfurls, there is going to be reason to question the choices people are making both from an NCIS standpoint and a character standpoint."
