"Jericho" fans can rest easy for now. NINA TASSLER, President of CBS Entertainment, has issued the following statement to fans of "Jericho": "Over the past few weeks, you have put forth an impressive and probably unprecedented display of passion in support of a primetime television series. You got our attention; your emails and collective voice have been heard. As a result, CBS has ordered seven episodes of 'Jericho' for mid-season next year."
That said, she points out that for the series to progress beyond that, the SKEET ULRICH-starrer will need to get better ratings than it earned its first year on the air. Still, the extra seven episodes will allow the writers to resolve the post-apocalyptic story and Jericho's conflict with the neighboring town of New Bern.
