ET was on the scene as SAMUEL L. JACKSON and TERI HATCHER hit the red carpet in support of their new film, 'Resurrecting the Champ,' in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night.

In the film, Jackson plays a homeless man who was once a famous boxer, and after three hours in the make-up chair, he says he fooled everyone.

JOSH HARTNETT is a sports writer who champions SAMUEL L. JACKSON's washed-up boxer in the sports drama 'Resurrecting the Champ,' in theaters August 24.

A hit at the Sundance Film Festival and based on a true story, 'Resurrecting' follows Erik Kernan (Hartnett), a down-on-his-luck sports reporter who strikes literary gold when he stumbles upon a homeless man (Jackson) who turns out to be a long-forgotten boxing title holder.
