Legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen took to the stage and made a big splash in support of Barack Obama!

"The Boss" rocked a crowd of an estimated 80,000 Obama supporters at a rain-drenched rally in Cleveland Sunday night -- and was joined by the presidential hopeful onstage, says the Chicago Tribune.

"Sunshine is on the way," the Democratic nominee told the crowd, says the paper. "We've just got two more days of these clouds."

Obama came onstage with wife Michelle, and daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7. The paper says Springsteen praised Obama in a brief speech and then performed a live version of "The Rising," a song Obama usually plays as he walks onstage at campaign events.

"I travel around the world. I occasionally play to big stadiums, crowds like this, just like Sen. Obama does," Springsteen told the crown, according to the paper. "I continue to find out that wherever I go, America remains a repository for people's hopes, their desires. It remains a house of dreams."

"Sen. Obama, help us rebuild our house, big enough for the dreams for all our citizens," he said. "I want my country back. I want my dream back. I want my America back."

Obama is expected to be in Florida on Monday morning before heading to North Carolina and Virginia.
