'All-Star' Celebs Team Up with Athletes for Charity
ET was in Phoenix, AZ for all the star-studded events surrounding Sunday's 2009 NBA All-Star Game. Music mogul Jay-Z went with his wife Beyoncé and NBA All-Star LeBron James to the Sprite Green™ Two Kings Dinner and After Party and delivered more than 150 instruments to the Mesa Arts Academy in Mesa, AZ. Jay-Z told ET he feels a responsibility to do what he can to help kids interested in music realize their dreams. 'Rush Hour' star Chris Tucker and James Denton from "Desperate Housewives" were two of the celebrities who suited up for the McDonalds NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, which also included top athletes and even players from the world famous Harlem Globetrotters. Another All-Star charity event was the T-Mobile myFaves Shot of a Lifetime, which featured a special performance by pop star Katy Perry, with additional music provided by Jermaine Dupri.
