Oscar-winner Russell Crowe is getting ready to storm the silver screen as the legendary hero 'Robin Hood,' and ET joins the star and his little boy Tennyson on the film's set!
"It's a huge part of English-speaking peoples' history, Robin Hood -- possibly the oldest-living story in the English language," Russell tells ET's Thea Andrews about the classic tale of the outlaw known to steal from the rich and give to the poor. "So, it is a big job to try and reshape that in peoples' minds."
The film, expected in theaters May 14, 2010, co-stars Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett as Maid Marian and re-teams Russell with his 'Gladiator' and 'American Gangster' director Ridley Scott.
Back on the set, Russell's little boy Tennyson pays his proud papa a visit -- and shows ET what a big 'Robin Hood' fan he is by arming himself with a play-sword and helmet!
"He's an actor, totally," Russell tells us. Click the video for more with the star and his son.
