Matthew McConaughey Presents Baby Vida
Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves started off the new year with a new bundle of joy -- now they're showing off the baby girl to the world.
New pics just posted on Matthew's web site depict the couple embracing their newborn.
Born January 3, 2010, little Vida Alves McConaughey weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces.
"'Vida is Portuguese for 'life' and that's what God gave us this morning," the proud papa wrote in his blog after Vida's birth. "Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family... thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks, just keep livin, Matthew and Camila."
The couple also has a 17-month-old son called Levi.
