Richard Gere, Don Cheadle and Ethan Hawke are headed to the big screen in Antoine Fuqua's new film, 'Brooklyn's Finest,' and they stepped out for the film's premiere Tuesday night in New York City.
"This is a real boy's movie," Gere said on the red carpet. "I mean, I've got people on the street coming up to me going, the boys going, 'Oh man, you've got to see this one.'"
Gere also told ET that the film is infused with the spirit of New York: "You know, it was written by a New Yorker, first script, he just wrote one out of his own heart. And everyone who's in this movie is a New Yorker, you know it's got the energy of this place."
'Brooklyn's Finest' finds Gere, Cheadle and Hawke as police officers all struggling with their very different situations. Wesley Snipes and Vincent D'Onofrio also star.
