Lea Michele and the rest of the Emmy nominated cast of "Glee" were very vocal Tuesday night at a TV Academy event in Hollywood to celebrate the astronomical success of their show.

Once inside, they continued to flex their vocal cords, treating the audience to musical performances. Self-proclaimed diva Jessalyn Gilsig, who left the harmonizing to the kids, said, "Anytime I get to come out and hear them perform live, I feel like I got a free ticket to a show I'd go to anyway."

While representing "Glee"'s 19 Emmy nominations at the August 29 awards show, Lea wants to look like a million bucks. Without revealing too many details, she spilled, "I had sort of been envisioning what I would want to look like on that night and I swear that I walked into my stylist's house and the dress what right there--the color, the feel." Costar Jayma Mays is considering a more frugal look. "Maybe I'll go to Ross Dress for Less tomorrow and see what I can find," said the deal-finding star.

Besides lavish gowns, dazzling jewels, elevating pumps, and flawless makeup, the stars also have to get outfitted with their dream date. "[My husband] is the perfect accessory to any dress. I don't need any jewels," said the blissfully wed Jayma. Cory Monteith doesn't plan to go stag, but hasn't lined up a date yet, saying, "Maybe I'll bring a cute girl to the Emmys."

Jayma already has her dream man in real life, but she's still excited to have a fling with celeb crush John Stamos on screen. "I am inappropriately smiling every time I say his name and I shouldn't. I'm married…I think he's the perfect boyfriend for Emma--clean, hygienic." John wooing her heart sets up a complicated love triangle involving Matthew Morrison's character. "I'm dusting off the dancing shoes a little bit and hopefully I won't have to use them against him," Matthew teased. "I might have to dip my knuckles in some broken glass and go take him out."

With the attention garnered by "Glee"'s Madonna episode last season, the show is following up with more themes. The ladies are excited to do a tribute to the younger pop princess, Britney Spears. Jenna Ushkowitz admitted, "Britney was my Madonna… I had my fan in my room during high school with pictures of her on each fan blade." Heather Morris added, "I did a talent show when I was in seventh grade and I learned her America Music Awards performance." It is unclear whether Britney herself with appear in the episode.

The cast will also conquer cult classic 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show.' "I have to take some credit with that one," Chris Colfer owned up. "I think that was slightly inspired by me asking [creator] Ryan [Murphy] for months and months to do the time warp."

They also hint at some romantic storylines that will stir up drama in the halls of William McKinley High School.
